Do you charge more for bespoke colours on your glass splashbacks?
There is no extra charge for this service.
What condition should my wall be in before the glass splashback is fitted?
Your wall doesn’t have to be in perfect condition. If you have holes or anything similar on it then you can just pack it out with adhesive. If you’ve taken off tiles etc. and half the plaster board comes with it, it shouldn’t really matter as long as it’s hasn’t gone above the height of the splashback.
Can I pick an image from Shutterstock for my printed glass splashback?
Yes. We will always send you a proof of the image before we go to print to make sure you are 100% happy with it.
Can I have holes or cut-outs in the glass?
Yes. Glass Splashbacks can be cut in many ways to allow for sockets, drill holes or shaping to a cooker hood. The accuracy of these is vital because we cut prior to toughening and once toughened no changes to the glass can be made.
Can you cut shaped pieces?
Glass Splashbacks can be curved or shaped to accommodate cooker hoods, etc. We can shape the splashback any size within 3000 x 1500mm. Most kitchen hob areas can be done in one piece.
Is your glass safe to be used behind a hob?
Yes. We only use toughened glass for our glass splashbacks, which is safe to be used behind any hob.
What type of glass do you use for your glass splashbacks?
We use 4mm, 6mm or 10mm thick low iron, toughened glass with all edges polished. Only toughened glass is safe to be used behind a hob.
