The project was completed over the course of three weeks.
The brief was to price for balustrading and bespoke mirrors as part of a residential development.
The scope of works included the installation of external toughened laminated glass balustrading with black handrails, along with internal bespoke mirrors.
The project requirements were determined through on-site meetings with the builder to assess fixing methods, design intent, and installation constraints.
A key requirement was to ensure the fixing method allowed the handrail to be securely installed on top of the glass, perfectly aligned with the edge of the wall.
The main challenge was achieving the required fixing detail while maintaining alignment and structural integrity.
This was overcome through a detailed on-site assessment and careful planning to determine the precise fixings needed to meet the design and safety requirements.
The completed installation delivered a clean, contemporary finish externally, complemented by bespoke internal mirrors that enhanced the overall interior design.
